Kalpana

Kalpana  Claudine Spilkowitz experienced her first yoga class at a young age while traveling through Indonesia. The practices that she observed left a profound impact on her and have lead to a long and serious commitment to promoting the healthy lifestyle benefits of yoga and meditation. She has been practicing yoga for ten years. Her meditation practice began five years ago, receiving her Sanskrit name Kalpana (cosmic imagination). She received her initial training from Kripalu Yoga Center and has since completed Ananda Marga Yoga and Meditation training. She has also completed training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Counselor.
She brings a loving approach and attention to detail within her classes. Her focus is to create a safe space where her students can feel comfortable to be themselves and explore the joys of movement within their own bodies.
